Amino Acids

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein that plays crucial functions for overall health. They are either essential amino acids, the kind that is needed to be supplied from the diet, or non-essential amino acids, which the body manufactures on its own but needs supplementation in some conditions. Amino acid supplements are made available to cross the gap between the needs of the body and the low amino acid content from poor diet and the body’s inadequate production of amino acid levels. Amino acid benefits muscle growth and repair, nerve health and functions, emotional health, memory and mood, and energy production.
