Derived from the resin of the Boswellia tree, it is commonly used to manage inflammatory disorders such as arthritis, asthma and inflammatory bowel diseases. The active component, Boswellic acid, and may also have anti-carcinogenic, anti-tumour, and blood lipid lowering properties.
